Hayley Squires and Jodie Whittaker Among the Nominee + Presenter Attendees Announced for the British Independent Film Awards

Nominees Michael Fassbender, Hayley Squires, Jodie Whittaker, Gemma Arterton, Jamie Dornan, Ken Loach and Ben Wheatley confirmed to attend

Danny Boyle, Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, Anna Friel, Lena Headey, Stephen Merchant, Sir Patrick Stewart and Liv Tyler amongst presenters who will join host Jennifer Saunders at the ceremony

Variety Award winner Naomie Harris and Richard Harris Award winner Alison Steadman will receive their awards on the night

The British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) today announces confirmed guests who will attend BIFA’s 2016 ceremony on Sunday 4 December at Old Billingsgate.

Host Jennifer Saunders will be joined by presenters from across the film industry including Douglas Booth, Laura Carmichael, Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, Anna Friel, Laura Haddock, Lena Headey, Jason Issacs, Ophelia Lovibond, Stephen Merchant, Bell Powley, Claire Skinner, Sir Patrick Stewart, Eleanor Tomlinson and Liv Tyler. Danny Boyle will present the Variety Award to Naomie Harris.

Best Director nominees Babak Anvari (Under the Shadow), Ben Wheatley (Free Fire), Ken Loach (I, Daniel Blake) and Peter Middleton and James Spinney (Notes on Blindness) will be in attendance as will special award winners Naomie Harris (Variety Award winner) and Alison Steadman (Richard Harris Award winner).

Naomie Harris is also nominated for Best Supporting Actress and will be joined at the awards by fellow nominees Gemma Arterton, Avin Manshadi, Shana Swash and Terry Pheto. Best Actress nominees confirmed to attend are Hayley Squires, Jodie Whittaker, Kate Dickie, and Narges Rashidi. In the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor categories guests include Michael Fassbender, Dave Johns, Max Records, Steve Brandon, ArinzéKene, Christopher Lloyd and Jamie Dornan.
