"Good Role Models? God No. Funny Role Models? Hell Yes!"

First impressions are incredibly important. This mantle applies in all aspects of life. Rock up to an interview wearing shorts and flip-flops and it doesn't matter if you have 35 PHD's you're screwed. Go on a first date stinking of BO and having orange teeth and you ain't getting a good night kiss.

For me, it's very much the same with films. If I'm not at least intrigued within the last five minutes, it's very rare that I enjoy the rest of the film. This may seem harsh, but time is money, and the economy is shot!

Luckily for ‘Role Models', I was hooked within the first five seconds. Any film that uses fishy fingers in a gag gets my vote instantly (if you don't know what fishy fingers are, PLEASE don't type it into Google on your parents' computer, and if you do don't blame me!).

This was a perfect no brainer laugh your ass off comedy. It's never gonna get anywhere near any ‘proper' awards, but who cares. From real life World of Warcraft, accusations of paedophilia, to horse statue mounting Minotaur's, this film has it all.

Now the above may not appeal to everyone, but I don't think I'm alone in thinking that we don't necessarily want to be mentally stimulated by films. In fact, I honestly think that films that try to be something they're not fall foul of not actually knowing what they are.

Thankfully, Role Models knows exactly what it is. As the person sat next to me said - "that's one of the funniest films I've seen all year" - and I have to agree wholeheartedly.
