"a combination of thrilling stunts, insane daring and clever writing to make this a stunning piece of action cinema"

Mission: Impossible - Fallout is the sixth entry in the ever popular Mission: Impossible franchise and continues the promise of Rogue Nation, for the first time in the 22 year history of the franchise, the two films essentially work together as a two parter.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout picks up with Ethan Hunt’s (Tom Cruise) IMF Team (Ving Rhames’s Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg’s Benji Dunn and Alec Baldwin’s Alan Hunley) on the hunt for 3 Nuclear devices, that are the desired objects of The Apostles, an off shoot of the Syndicate, the villainous organisation from Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Joining the IMF Team on their quest is Henry Cavill’s CIA Assassin August Walker and Rebecca Ferguson’s Ilsa Faust returns following the events of Rogue Nation. Sean Harris is once again menacing as Syndicate Leader Solomon Lane and the incredible Vanessa Kirby joins the cast as the mysterious White Widow.

There are no slouches in Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Cruise, Ferguson, Pegg, Rhames and Harris are brilliant, they know their roles and relish them, new cast members Cavill, Kirby and Angela Bassett are equally wonderful in their roles.

Writer and Director Christopher McQuarrie returns for the second time to the franchise, and it is an incredible return, his writing and directing is just on point and keeps you riveted and engaged from start to finish.

With a combination of thrilling stunts, insane daring and clever writing to make this a stunning piece of action cinema, it is relentless from start to finish, going from car chases to motor cycle chases, to foot chases to hand-to-hand combat to death defying stunts from atop buildings and helicopters, Mission: Impossible - Fallout takes full advantage of the IMAX format, it’s intense especially in 3D.

Underpinned by a fantastic score by Lorne Balfe that takes full advantage of the IMAX sound, Mission: Impossible - Fallout has plenty of winks and references to pst films in the franchise, including the appearance of Michelle Monaghan as Ethan’s wife Julia Meade-Hunt.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout is an excellent addition to this 22 year old franchise, that shows no signs of slowing down, with Fallout being this good, the future for Hunt and the Team is bright.
