SYNOPSIS

Garfield marks the long awaited motion picture debut of everyone’s favourite feline – and the world’s laziest cat. The Live Action / CGI picture is adapted from the syndicated cartoon strip read in 2600 newspapers by 260 million readers around the globe. Bill Murray provides the voice of Garfield.

Garfield who competes with a dog named Odie for the affection and attention of their human master, Jon Arbuckle, when Odie is introduced into their home much to Garfield’s disgust. When Odie is kidnapped by a mean dog trainer, however, Garfield feels responsible, so he gets off his favorite spot and gets into action to rescue his fellow pet…

Breckin Meyer portrays Garfield’s owner, Jon Arbuckle, and Jennifer Love Hewitt is the famed feline’s veterinarian Liz Wilson. The film also features the voice talents of Debra Messing as Arlene, a cute feline who keeps Garfield on his toes; Brad Garrett as Luca, the neighbourhood doberman; and Alan Cumming as Persnikitty, another cat with whom Garfield crosses paths.

Also featured are the voice talents of Nick Cannon as Louis, a mouse; Jimmy Kimmel as Spanky, a pit bull with a bronx accent; David Eigenberg as Nermal, a friendly feline; and Mo’nique as a Rat.
