SPIDEY SWINGS INTO LONDON! Spider-Man: Homecoming Stuntman Scales London Buildings in World-famous Suit

Spider-Man: Homecoming stunt double Chris Silcox climbed into the world famous Spidey suit for a hair-raising appearance in London, scaling some of the capital’s highest buildings ahead of the UK release of Spider-Man: Homecoming next month.

In a breathtaking set of images Silcox, wearing one of the actual suits used in the movie, stunned onlookers when he scaled the BT Tower and Heron Tower. He also turned heads performing acrobatic flips at famous landmarks including Millennium Bridge and was even spotted hanging around on the London Underground and perched on a London phone box.

Silcox, who doubles British star Tom Holland in the new film, said “It’s been an honour to work on Spider-Man: Homecoming as Tom's stunt double. I’m proud to bring the Spidey Suit into his hometown and showcase a little of what's to come when the film is released in a few weeks. The views from London's Heron and BT Towers are spectacular and rival those of New York!”

Spider-Man was first spotted on the wall of the 230m tall, 46-floor Heron Tower, noticed by diners at SUSHISAMBA.

Yousef Ibrahim, 27, said "I thought at first it was an art installation then I saw he was moving and couldn’t believe my eyes! He was literally clinging onto the building with his fingers and striking some unbelievable poses – I wasn’t surprised when I heard he was the stuntman from the new film."

The iconic web slinger was next seen at the top of one of London's most iconic buildings the BT Tower, only a matter of hours later. He clung on in a seemingly daredevil fashion on the 29th level of the 190m tall structure.

Chris Silcox is a stunt performer who is skilled in gymnastics, circus skills and parkour – Chris performs stunts for film & TV, and has performed with Cirque du Soleil, been featured on Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars & music videos for Pharrell and Will.I.Am.
