Nickelodeon Favourite Amanda Bynes Hopes to ‘dip her toe’ Back into Acting on TV and FIlm in 2018 to reclaim Comedy Crown
Whilst she was last seen on the big screen as Marianne opposite Emma Stone in 2010’s EASY A, Amanda Bynes’ lawyer has announced that she hopes to 'dip her toe' back into acting in 2018!
In the statement to Page Six, her lawyer confirmed that Amanda has big things in store for her in 2018 – including a return to the small, or big, screen stating “In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting.
She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback."
Could that mean a reboot to the beloved The Amanda Show that ran from 1999 to 2002? Only time will tell.
Earlier this year, the former Nickelodeon star expressed her desire to return to acting revealing that she wants "to do TV" when she can explaining "I do miss acting, and I have something surprising to tell you: I'm going to start acting again. I want to do TV.
Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of and maybe another TV show where I'm the star of it, in the future. That's what I hope."
Bynes is known for 2002’s Big Fat Liar, 2003’s What a Girl Wants and 2006’s She's the Man to name a few and in 2013, she enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
