Introducing Israeli Actress, Singer and Songwriter MEITAL DOHAN Ahead of the Release of Bruno de Almeida’s CABARET MAXIME

Global Actress, Singer and Songwriter Meital Dohan has released exclusive photos with world-renowned photographer Henry Diltz, who has photographed the likes of Michael Jackson, Joni Mitchell and the Rolling Stones.

Meital has now collaborated with Henry to showcase these raunchy news snaps of the extremely talented and very photogenic Meital.

Meital said “I feel so fortunate to work with such a creative soul and iconic talent. I met Henry several years ago at Julian Lenons’ art show and I was honoured when we talked about collaborating and now I have had the pleasure to work with him again.”

Meital is a multi-award-winning theatre, film and TV actress and has won an Israeli Tony Award and two Israeli Oscar nominations. She has previously starred in worldwide hit TV shows Weeds, Woke Up Dead and more, and starred in the hit film Monogamy. She was also the lead role for the Israeli reworking of Ugly Betty; Giraffes, God’s; Sandbox and featured in huge stage productions including Romeo & Juliette, As You Like It and Dancing with The Stars.

Dohan has toured the world and collaborated with some of the biggest names in music including Sean Kingston, Reflex (Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna), R3hab (Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Calvin Harris) and Che Pope (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Eminem) and her three music videos have raked in over 12 million YouTube views. Meital charted globally with 3 tracks making the top 10 Billboard Dance Chart & Club Chart; top 5 UK Commercial Pop Club Chart & UK Upfront Club Chart, plus #1 iTunes Dance chart in Italy.

This year Meital will star in the hugely anticipated film Cabaret Maxime, due to release in Lisbon end of May. Starring alongside Meital is Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) from director Bruno de Almeida. Imperioli plays 'Bennie,' the owner of Cabaret Maxime, a hotspot that features the world's greatest specialty acts including music, burlesque, strippers and more. Dohan stars as the cabaret's beautiful and mesmerising featured act with a tiger. Dohan actually owns a pet tiger in real life! Other cast include Imperioli's fellow The Sopranos alums John Ventimiglia and David Proval, along with Orange is the New Black's Nick Sandow. Cabaret Maxime is due to release in the UK later this year so watch this space.

Meital is also a brand ambassador for Nelson Mandala’s charity for global quality and peace. The charity will be holding a Nelson Mandela Music Tribute, which is a 3-day charitable benefit concert festival to commemorate the 100th birthday of Nelson Mandela, while celebrating his life and legacy as one of the world’s most beloved, iconic, Nobel-Prize winning heroes of all time. The concert will be accompanied by an online peace awareness campaign. The proceeds will be donated to the Nelson Mandela Foundation to contribute to supporting Mr. Mandela’s legacy alongside various local charities that support health, education, and empowerment with a spirit of peace, unity, and hope for all humanity.
