Teddy The Shetland Remakes Elf, Home Alone + Love Actually alongside his Canine Best Pal in Heartwarming Advert
Instagram sensation Teddy The Shetland has shared his latest advert for The Jockey Club, where he stars in the remake of three iconic scenes from Christmas classics Elf, Home Alone and Love Actually.
The advert, which was released on Teddy's instagram, features adorable footage of Teddy as Buddy the Elf, frolicking and slicking back his barnet as Kevin from Home Alone and holding up the iconic signs in the style of Adam Lincoln as he professes his love for Keira Knightly in Love Actually.
Teddy's advert already had thousands of views and hundreds of adoring comments from fans, who are calling it 'better than the actual clip of the movie' with others saying 'this is the only thing getting me through the work week'. Teddy's Cocker Spaniel best pal Chip melts hearts with a demure performance in the final Love Actually Scene, where he looks lovingly at Teddy holding up a sign reading 'To me, you are perfect'.
This marks Teddy's third advertorial collaboration with The Jockey Club. This particular promotion is for the Betfair Tingle Creek Christmas Festival, which is taking place on 7th and 8th December at Sandown Racecourse.
About Teddy The Shetland
Teddy the Shetland is probably the world's most famous miniature shetland pony. He has 108.3 K instagram followers and been the face of campaigns with Amazon, Penguin Books, Paramount Pictures, Hovis, West Elm California and many more. Teddy is three years old and stands at just 30 inches. Being raised with dogs and people, he doesn't consider himself a horse and spent much of his early life indoors. He's a hilarious little character and his remarkable calmness has meant that he's able to pay regular visits to nursing homes, hospitals and his local children's hospice, Shooting Star Chase.
He has attracted a significant amount of attention from the press in his short life for his charity work with Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony Charity and modelling jobs (his latest project was with Town and Country and Dior). Teddy's Christmas project has been launching a line of plush Christmas tree decorations with West Elm to raise money for ASPCA. Teddy will be at London's Olympia Horse Show this year, making regular appearances in the Live Zone. Following his recent photo shoot with iconic equine photographer Mark Harvey, Teddy will be releasing limited edition prints in the lead up to Christmas.
