How the Boat will be Rocking London

02 September 2009

Recession busting commute for Londoners on The Boat That Rocked!

On Monday 7th September, commuters will be treated to a credit crunch-busting journey to work, to promote the DVD and Blu-ray release of The Boat That Rocked!

Thanks to Universal Pictures UK, the Thames Executive River Taxi that runs between Putney and Blackfriars, will be free for all passengers in the morning and evening. With the recession still in full swing, a free trip to work will be a welcome surprise for commuters on a dreary Monday morning.

To brighten up the journey, The Boat That Rocked will be bringing back the heady days of the 1960s! Passengers will be able to enjoy the tunes of a rock ‘n' roll generation and be pampered by 60s hostesses, allowing Londoners to kick back and relax, and soak up the flower power on the Thames!

The Boat That Rocked is a hilarious, uplifting and riotous story of a group of outrageous DJs broadcasting from pirate radio station, Radio Rock, live on the airwaves night and day from somewhere in the North Sea and is available to buy on DVD & Blu-ray from Monday 7th September.

Get your 60s glad rags on and go ‘dancing in the street'!

A big dose of flower power will be unleashed on Carnaby Street soon as crowds of people plan to put on their platforms and bring the swinging 60's back to life to and go Dancing in the Street.
