The Fan Carpet attended the Special Screening of WHY HIM? at Bloomsbury Bowl to support the Home Entertainment Release

“surprisingly decent comedy with more hits than misses and fantastic comedic performances from James Franco and Bryan Cranston” - Hannah Wales, The Fan Carpet

The Fan Carpet were invited to a unique event at the prestigious King Pin Suite at Bloomsbury Bowl this week to celebrate the home entertainment release of WHY HIM? starring the legendary Bryan Cranston and the magnanimous James Franco.

The Fan Carpet’s Marc Jason Ali, Ellie Torrez, Raj Virdi and Tom Churchill took part in bowling, playing fun filled sets resulting in Raj narrowly winning with Ellie coming in second by 2 points.

We were treated to nibbles in the form of nachos and the renowned pizza that Bloomsbury Bowl are famed for; obviously you come for the bowling, but the good food doesn’t hurt!

We were then treated to an exclusive screening of the film and it’s incredible, really funny, incredibly crude and rude but hey it’s an R-rated comedy. We have a full review linked below from Hannah, but it’s an wonderful comedy that was a laugh from start to finish.

The principal cast of Cranston and Franco just work effortlessly together, Franco capturing the vulnerability of Laird perfectly, whilst also creating an over the top/ in your face persona, it’s awesome.

Zoey Deutch continues to prove why she is one to watch, the girl is not only beautiful but has clear talent, and as Hannah says in her review, the addition of The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco is genius as the AI of Laird’s home.

All in all, we had a fun filled evening of bowling, food, drink and wonderful company. Many thanks to the team at Premiere Communications and 20th Century Fox for putting on such an amazing night!
