Directing is the Pitts

Brad Pitt has ruled out ever directing movies, insisting he's too much of a "perfectionist".

The Inglorious Basterds actor will never seek out a directing career because he believes that he would spend too much time on the project.

He told Time Out Dubai magazine, "Have I ever wanted to direct a movie? Oh no! It would be too painful for me. It would take up too much time. I'm too much of a perfectionist, it just wouldn't be a good mix.

"I've got too many other things I like to do, like being with my kids or building or something."
