‘Detention’ cast shaping up
The cast of new horror comedy 'Detention' is shaping up, yesterday it was announced that the man who could've been Spider-man, Josh Hutcherson has signed on to the new film, along with Dane Cook.
Now it is reported that they will be joined by 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' star Spencer Locke and relative newcomer Shanley Caswell.
According to reports Caswell will apparently play a "cute but awkward" girl with a crush on Hutcherson, while Locke's her cheerleader nemesis, the film is being directed by Joseph Kahn, who shot some amazing music videos like Eminem’s Without Me and then burst on to the filmmaking scene with 'Torque', which led to a grand total of zero other film making jobs in the years that followed.
The film starts shooting this month, from a script by Mark Palermo.
