Bill Paxton wants to join Sigourney Weaver in Neill Blomkamp’s Alien 5
With a fifth entry in the Alien franchise coming to cinemas under the Direction of District 9’s Neill Blomkamp, it has emerged that Bill Paxton is ready to battle Xenomorphs one more time.
The fifth entry in the classic Sci-Fi/ Horror franchise has Sigourney Weaver set to return to her iconic role of Ripley and Michael Biehn is also expected to be back as Corporal Dwayne Hicks.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Paxton admitted that he is not entirely familiar with Blomkamp's plans for Alien 5, but would be interested in coming back as his Aliens character Private William Hudson declaring "I mean, if you're going to bring Hicks back, you've got to have Hudson.”
Little is known about Blomkamp’s Alien 5, however the filmmaker previously described his movie as a direct sequel to Aliens, although he has stressed that it will not ignore events in the later films either and it is set to debut next year.
Paxton was last seen in the incredible Edge of Tomorrow and Nightcrawler and is set to appear in Term Life alongside Pitch Perfect 2 star Hailee Steinfeld.
