Swindon-born English actress. She graduated from Sheffield University with a B.A. Hons in English and Drama.
She played the character Elizabeth Russell in the film Lagaan and, since 2005, plays Helena Peabody on the television show The L Word.
She appears in the 2008 British Horror film “The Children” alongside Eva Birthistle.
