Mark Moses was born in New York City and grew up in Evanston, Illinois. He played quarterback at for his high school in Evanston, and went on to play another year at Ithaca College in upstate New York where he majored in English before dropping out and traveling abroad. Mark then got into NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a degree in theater. He immediately landed a role in the Broadway production “Slab Boys” with Sean Penn and Kevin Bacon, and was working Off-Broadway and in regional theaters when he met Oliver Stone who cast him as “Lt. Wolfe” in the academy award winning film, “Platoon,” Oliver also cast Mark in “Born on the Fourth of July” and “The Doors.”
