American actor of television and film. His major roles have been as Dennis Reynolds on FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and as Corey Howard on the short-lived 2002 sitcom That ’80s Show.
Howerton’s father, Glenn Franklin Howerton, Jr., was a fighter pilot. In consequence, Glenn (III) grew up in London, South Korea, and Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, and went on to study at Juilliard, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the school’s actor training program.
Howerton has guest-starred on ER as Dr. Nick Cooper (six episodes in 2003) and had small roles in the films Serenity and Must Love Dogs.
