SYNOPSIS
With its pretty songs and good characters, THUMBELINA will delight children. The film–which uses more computer graphics than previous Don Bluth films–tells the fable of the Hans Christian Andersen heroine Thumbelina (Jodi Benson), a tiny girl born to a childless woman from a flower. Longing to find someone her size, she falls in love with a fairy prince, Cornelius (Gary Imhoff), only to be kidnapped by a band of show business toads and their singing Ma (Charo). That’s just the beginning of Thumbelina’s adventures and her quest to be reunited with her prince–and it’s an adventure filled with danger and excitement.
