SYNOPSIS
Based on Honore de Balzac’s classic novel, Cousin Bette centers on astonishingly contemporary themes: sex, money, psychological games and bedroom crimes. Amidst a Paris in turmoil, the aristocratic Hulot family is racked by adultery, financial misfortune and a series of manipulations of the heart against the backdrop of pre-revolutionary France.
