Zac Efron set for Workplace Comedy
Zac Efron, known the world over as Troy Bolton in the worldwide phenomenon 'High School Musical' isn't just a pretty face, after hitting success with '17 Again' he is quietly establishing his credentials as a Hollywood producer.
His Warner Bros.based Ninjas Runnin' Wild Productions is aggressively seeking films for the 22 year old rather than waiting for the phone to ring, the latest project to join the development slate is an untitled workplace comedy, which would reunite Efron with the producers behind '17 Again' Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot.
Also on Efron's to-do list are 'Art of the Steal' about a master thief; 'Einstein Theory' a time-travel story said to be in the vein of 'Back to the Future' (Efron's a big fan of Bob Zemeckis' 1985 film), 'Fire' based on the Brian Michael Bendis graphic novel about a college kid recruited by the CIA and a remake of Swedish thriller 'Snabba Cash'.
Zac will next be seen in the coming of age drama 'Charlie St. Cloud' for Universal Pictures.
