Toni Collette and Colin Farrell join Fright Night Remake

11 May 2010

The 'Fright Night' remake has just got a lot more tangible, it is reported that Hollywood legend Toni Collette and Hollywood hunk Colin Farrell have joined the cast.

Farrell is set to take on the iconic role of Jerry, the charismatic vampire neighbour of Anton Yelchin's Charley Brewster, recently Farrell has been doing the rounds in indie films like Ondine and Crazy Heart.

Collette on the other hand will play Charley's nosey mother, wich is awesome! She's a legend.

There are still some key roles to be filled: there's the vampire's "familiar" assistant (previously played by Jonathan Stark), the lead kid's sweet girlfriend (played by Amanda Bearse back in '85), and the former movie star turned vampire killer Peter Vincent, who was originally played by the late, great Roddy McDowall.
