The Wolfman LA Premiere. Blunt Shines

10 February 2010

WE'VE loved Emily Blunt ever since she played the bitchy assistant in The Devil Wears Prada. And judging by her chic appearance at the premiere of The Wolfman, Emily Blunt won't be falling off the pedestal we've put her on anytime soon.

The 26-year-old managed to trump her acting peers Sir Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro at last night's red-carpet event for their new movie, looking uber-glam in a midnight-blue gown.

Usually we wouldn't condone dresses which can't make up their mind if they're above-the-knee or calf-length, but Em's is a beauty - showing off her lithe but curvy figure thanks to it's one-shoulder and studded waist belt.

The Young Victoria actress rounded off her Grecian look with gladiator sandals and pretty feathers in her hair.

The British actress, who arrived with husband-to-be John Krasinski on her arm, may have stole the show at the premiere - but admits it was Sir Anthony Hopkins she couldn't take her eyes off during filming.

She said: “He’s very, very cool. I was riveted by him.

"I would sit around and talk to him between takes, and he’d tell us wonderful stories. He’s a great mimic.

“He’s quite an economical actor. It’s masterful to watch - and it’s distracting. I’d watch him in the scene and be like, 'Oh, s**t! I forgot my line.' ”
