The name’s Jones, Vinnie Jones

Vinnie Jones is to star in a James Bond-esque TV show.

The X-Men actor will star in the as-yet-untitled show, which is based on a upcoming comic book series. Jones will play an international spy called Jake Noble, who teams up with his long lost daughters in a series of risky adventures - reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Jones said, "I never really thought of TV before as a medium for me. However, with it becoming such a source of creativity these days, and this project with its modern James Bond style and feeling to it, I couldn't resist."

Jones has also signed on to make a guest appearance in spy caper Chuck
