Take Brian Smrz’s 24 HOURS TO LIVE Home on Digital Download, DVD and Blu-ray NOW – Action Films That Leave You Out Of Breath

28 March 2018

Still reeling from a terrible personal tragedy, Travis Conrad (Ethan Hawke) takes up a friend’s offer and becomes a hired gun. When things go horribly wrong, Conrad ends up being killed on the job. When he awakes on an operating table, he realises he’s been brought back to life for just 24 hours for one final chance at redemption. With nerve-shredding action sequences and exhilarating car chases, 24 Hours to Live will have you on the edge of your seat.

Explosive fight sequences, edge-of-your-seat stand-offs and the nerve-racking races against time... There is nothing like a true action film.

In preparation for the high-octane action thriller 24 Hours to Live, starring Oscar® nominated actor Ethan Hawke, we have put together six of the most riveting action films of all time...

Die Hard (1988)
Die Hard centres on John McClane, an off-duty NYC police officer, as he is caught in the middle of a heist. Due to the explosive, fast-paced, and extraordinarily deadly action that ensues, Die Hard is beloved by both audiences and critics and is considered by many to be the best action (and Christmas!) movie of all time.

Mission: Impossible (1996)
The first in a long line of many, many Mission Impossible movies, then original is perhaps the best of the lot. The film that introduced the world to Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), the Mission Impossible movies are known for their daring stunts- with Cruise often taking them on himself- as well as that iconic theme tune. With the sixth instalment in the franchise due to be released this year, the Mission Impossible franchise shows little sign of slowing down.

Jack Reacher (2012)
2012’s Jack Reacher saw Tom Cruise stepping into the shoes of Lee Child’s iconic investigator. When five people are murdered in a small town, local law enforcement immediately track down their suspect. However, on interrogation, the man can only say one thing: Get Jack Reacher. This is the film that cemented Tom Cruise’s credentials as the world’s biggest action star.

John Wick (2014)
Following the death of his wife, former assassin John Wick goes on a violent rampage to get revenge on the Russian mob leaders who wronged him (and his dog). The movie that revitalised Keanu Reeves’ career and lead to a hugely successful sequel, this isn’t one to miss.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Mad Max: Fury Road chases Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) as she runs from chaos and searches for her childhood oasis with the help of a rebellious drifter named Max (Tom Hardy). An unrelenting thrill ride, Mad Max: Fury Road is an original and visually stunning addition to the genre.

24 Hours to Live (2018)
