Sucker Punch star Jena Malone shares excitement for role in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Sucker Punch's Rocket Jena Malone has spoken out about her excitement for her coveted role of Johanna Mason in the upcoming sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Speaking to E! Online the gorgeous star said "I'm super excited, it's going to be amazing."
While Malone hasn't met director Francis Lawrence yet, she is taking it "one step a time" in preparing for her role and added "I read the whole series over a weekend when I had a wisdom tooth out.
I was in bed looking for something to read and my little sister recommended it like a year and a half ago, so she was like, 'You have to read it! You have to read it!' And so I'm glad I finally did and I loved it."
Malone is currently filming Michael C. Martin's Ten Cent Pistol and has So Yong Kim' For Ellen with Paul Dano and Brian Savelson's In Our Nature with Gabrielle Union awaiting UK release dates, she also has the Chloë Sevigny starring M. Blash written and directed drama The Wait in post production.
