Smith hints at Willis rift

27 October 2009

Kevin Smith has admitted that directing Willis was "intimidating".

The Dogma filmmaker is working with Willis on cop caper A Couple of Dicks. However, it's been reported that the pair have fallen out over creative differences.

While both have denied the claims, Smith has admitted he struggled to direct the Die Hard star.

Smith said, "Bruce Willis is probably the most intimidating actor I've ever worked with. I find him - and I don't mean this in an insulting way - undirectable.

"He has all sorts of range, but what he's predominantly known for is playing the guy who holds his gun down by his side and saves people. How do you tell Bruce Willis to be Bruce Willis?"
