Rakuten TV kickstarts 2019 with the best in filmed entertainment at the click of a button on your Smart TV.

Lady Gaga’s tale of a singer’s rise to fame in A Star Is Born and the glossy rom-com Crazy Rich Asians are just two of the box office smash hit additions to Rakuten TV this January. They are joined by high-octaine action movies Superfly, The Predator, Mile 22 and Venom, which sees Tom Hardy take on the comic book anti-hero.

Join Academy-award winner Michael Cain, Blake Lively and Daveed Diggs for thrilling crime dramas King of Thieves, A Simple Favour and Blindspotting to keep you gripped through the cold January evenings. For comedy fans Jack Black is back in the family fantasy The House with a Clock in its Walls, Kevin Hart becomes a student again in Night School and everyone’s favourite dysfunctional British spy is trying to save the country in Johnny English Strikes Again.

The glossy rom-com that has taken the world by storm is coming to Rakuten. The crowd pleaser that wowed audiences on both sides of the Atlantic won over critics and film fans alike.

CIA operative James Silva leads a small but lethal paramilitary team on an urgent and dangerous mission. Silva and the soldiers soon find themselves in a race against time as the city's military, police and street gangs close in to reclaim the asset.
