Skylark Vision’s Award Winning Filmmaker Marc Zammit Postpones A THOUSAND FLAMES And Sets Hopeful Shoot Date For WITCH

05 April 2021

Award Winning filmmaker Marc Zammit was set to film his new feature film "A Thousand Flames" on March 23rd, 2020, producing with his business partners Craig Hinde and Frank Zammit with Skylark Vision, but due to covid-19 when the first lockdown happened in the UK on March 24th a day after the first shooting day, they decided to postpone the project, due to one of the main locations being set in a hospital they decided it was extremely risky and unsafe, for cast, crew, and production. The Film has now currently been on hold for a year now and will still go ahead once they feel confident it's safe and won't impact the film or their access to the locations.

In the meantime, Skylark Vision has been busy as Craig Hinde joins the company as a director, with Marc Zammit, and Frank Zammit. A post-production studio has been built with a conference room and offices.

Marc Zammit & Craig Hinde are currently Directing an exciting Thriller/Horror project together that currently has the working tile of "Witch".

"Witch" is currently in pre-production and the team are set to start production in August abroad where they have recently done a set visit for their location. We don't know much about the project but going from the concept poster and title we assume this topic will be based on a horrifying Witch Story.

This is a completely new genre for Marc and he expressed he is extremely excited to get his teeth into this, and also excited to be Co-directing it with his business partner Craig Hinde who is much more experienced with the horror genre, having worked on a number of horrors over the years.

They believe together they will bring some haunting entertainment to our screens once it's completed. Marc and Craig spoke to us briefly and said the hope is we can film this film as it is a film we can shoot around the covid pandemic and restrictions. Unlike "A Thousand Flames" because this is not shot in a hospital and once we have completed and finished filming "Witch", we are hopefully able to move into production for "A Thousand Flames" and start shooting, hopefully, restrictions have calmed down a lot more and our hospital location can give us the thumbs up when it's safe to film in the empty wards. fingers crossed.

Filming of Witch is scheduled to hopefully shoot In August.
