Simon Pegg in talks to return to ‘Mission: Impossible’
'Mission: Impossible IV' has a director (Brad Bird) and it has its star; Tom Cruise, now it seems it may also have its tech expert in the shape of Simon Pegg, who is in talks to return as Benji Dunn, the M:I Universe' answer to 'Q' from James Bond, with 'Star Trek' director J.J. Abrams producing the fourth installment, it would be Pegg and Abrams' third film together before the in-development 'Star Trek 2'.
With no green light as of yet from Paramount, director Brad Bird is gearing up to cast the film that will star Tom as the super spy Ethan Hunt.
Shooting is said to start in September, as soon as Paramount give the go ahead.
It is also thought that with the poor box office takings for 'Knight & Day', studio execs may want to cast a youngster for Hunt to train ala Indiana Jones' latest outing.
