Scorsese’s 3D dreams

Martin Scorsese is keen to make a 3D film.
The Oscar winning filmmaker is a supporter of the hugely popular medium in Hollywood at the moment, and admits he sees a time where even gritty dramas like Precious could be shot in 3D.
He said, "We see in depth, for the most part. We go to the theater — it's in depth. Why couldn't a film like Precious be in 3-D? It should be. I'd love to do one. It just seems natural that we'd be going in that direction. It's going to be something to look forward to, but to be used interestingly."
