Robert Pattinson says Emilie can handle her drink

18 March 2010

London's Leicester Square was flooded with hundreds of teenage girls tonight as they clambered for a glimpse of Robert Pattinson.

The 23-year-old actor was greeted by screaming fans as he arrived for the premiere of his new film Remember Me.

Pattinson's Australian co-star, Emilie de Ravin (best known as Claire on the sci-fi series Lost) can apparently hold her drink unlike her character in the film.

"On the day of the audition we went out to a bar afterwards and Emilie, I swear, this tiny girl drank 24 beers and she was still stone cold sober!"

Emilie laughed and responded "I do think Australian and British share a similar sense of humor, perhaps the sarcasm?"

As expected his Twilight co-star and rumored real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart wasn't anywhere to be seen. Other celebs that did join him on the red carpet were Brandy, Charlie Simpson, Holly Valance, Raven-Symone, Tom Felton.
