The Redgrave acting dynasty is in mourning as they say good bye to film and stage legend Lynn Redgrave, who lost her battle with Breast Cancer on Sunday night at her home in Manhattan. Though an official cause of death was not released.

Lynn, who was 67 when she died, had been nominated for two Oscars in 1967 for 'Best Actress' in Georgy Girl and over thirty years later in 1999 for 'Best Supporting Actress' in Gods and Monsters.

In a statement, her children said "Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven-year journey with breast cancer, she lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives."

Lynn had a wonderful career in film, stage and television, she was recently seen in a guest stint on hit television series 'Ugly Betty', throughout her long career she earned three Tony nominations, an Emmy nomination.
