No Friends in the cinema

The Friends cast have dismissed rumours of a movie version of the hit show.

James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther in the series, revealed recently that the cast were heading to the big screen.

He said, "Friends The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen. I am definitely on board to do the film.

"I really loved my time on the show and I am looking forward to meeting up with the old gang again."

However, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow have all denied the rumours.

They each issued statements, saying, "We are not aware of any plans for a Friends movie."
