Kristen Bell wants to return to Neptune
Could we be returning to Neptune, California? Apparently it's up to us! Kristen Bell has revealed she's trying to convince Warner Bros to make a movie version of her hit show ‘Veronica Mars’.
The ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ star loved playing the title role in the teen detective drama, which has now ended. And she admits she still holds hope for a ‘Veronica Mars’ movie.
She said “I wish I had news. Still in the process of campaigning to tell Warner Bros. that people would actually see it, I think that as long as you guys keep asking those questions and I keep answering them, Warner Bros. will one day get the picture that everybody does want it and that it will make its money back."
Still, Mars has its fans, many of whom are hoping to see the series live on through a cinematic adaptation — an adaptation that’s unlikely to come to fruition anytime soon, as Kristen Bell recently said that Warner Bros. is skeptical of the potential film’s prospects.
Kristen Bell can next be seen in 'When In Rome' alongside Josh Duhamel, which is released later this year.
