Jessica Biel is Vivaldi’s muse
Stunning actress Jessica Biel, is set to star in period romance ‘Vivaldi’, alongside rising star Luke Evans.
The film centres on a forbidden romance that develops between composer, priest and violin virtuoso Antonio Vivaldi and his protégé, singer Anna Tessieri Giro, leading him to write his enduring masterpiece ‘The Four Seasons’
The film is being produced by Raffaella De Laurentiis and is being helmed by Patricia Riggen of ‘Under the Same Moon’.
There's a certain amount of artistic licence at play here, in that most scholars seem to believe Vivaldi's own vehement denial of any hanky panky between himself and Giro. The pair were certainly close collaborators, and Giro (along with her sister) became part of Vivaldi's entourage on his far-and-wide travels, but there's no real evidence to suggest Giro was anything more than Vivaldi's favourite prima donna.
Luke Evans can currently be seen as 'Apollo' in 'Clash Of The Titans' and Jessica Biel can next be seen in summer blockbuster 'The A-Team' alongside Bradley Cooper.
