Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue moove to ‘The House At The End Of The Street’

26 July 2010

Rising star Jennifer Lawrence is certainly one to watch. Not only has she received critical acclaim for her debut film 'Winter's Bone' and is set to battle mutants as the blue skinned Mystique in 'X-Men: First Class' but now she has signed to star alongside the gorgeous and talented Elisabeth Shue in upcoming psychological chiller 'House At The End Of The Street' directed by Mark Tonderai and co starring 'The Pacifier' and 'Chloe' star Max Thieriot.

The story centers on a teen girl (Lawrence) who moves with her mum (Shue) to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre's sole surviving son (Thieriot).

FilmNation's Aaron Ryder and Peter Block of A Bigger Boat are producing with Tim Williams, Hal Lieberman and Jonathan Mostow. Mostow wrote the story on which the script, written by David Loucka, is based.

Elisabeth can next be seen fighting off pre-historic piranha fish in upcoming remake 'Piranha 3D' which arrives on our shores 20th August, and co stars Kelly Brook.
