PROMOZIONI (Promotions in English) revolves around the surreal experience of a promoter who tries to establish honest relationships with her customers and the people she works with, but she slowly realises that her values are not reconcilable with the nature of sales. The people she meets, the attacks she gets and the reminiscence of her beloved grandma starts to convince her to pursue her real dream before anything else.
Nobody’s Child is a London based theatre company founded and run by Italian collaborators. Founder Anna Carfora established the company to create a link between Italian and English theatre and to bring her work, stories and background to the English theatre audience. Promozioni is directed by Norwegian director Tonje Wik Olaussen. The play, originally written in Italian by Anna Carfora, has been translated to English by writer Tim Parks.
Cast: Anna Carfora, Rachele Fregonese, Alida Pantone, Iacopo Paradisi, and Davide Roberti.
