Grint’s post Potter film gets big screen release
Rupert Grint has thanked his fans after they petitioned to get his new movie on the big screen.
The Harry Potter star's latest movie - Cherrybomb - has become something of a festival favourite after touring the circuit. However, the coming of age drama had struggled to find a theatrical distributor.
But that has all changed after they found an as yet unnamed UK distributor following the Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign, which was launched by fans. Full details will be announced shortly, according to The Little Film Company, its sales agent.
Grint said, "I'm delighted by the huge support the film has already received on the official Facebook page and other sites on the web and am so grateful to my fans in particular, who have travelled the world to support the film at festivals and preview screenings."
