Globally Acclaimed Manga Classic GHOST IN THE SHELL from Filmmaker Mamoru Oshii Returns to Cinemas Tonight!

25 January 2017

"A visual masterpiece." - SFX

This evening, thousands of film fans across the UK will be heading to their local cinemas to see influential anime classic Ghost in the Shell on the big screen, 21 years after its initial UK release.

With the recent addition of more than 20 new locations, tonight's showings make up a nationwide one-night-only cinema event showing on over 120 screens. Tickets are currently selling fast, with both of today's screenings at central London's Prince Charles Cinema already sold out - so head to gitsmovie.co.uk to get your ticket before it's gone!

"Profound and beautifully animated, Ghost In The Shell redefined the anime genre by exploring complex ideas regarding AI and what it means to be human – these themes are just as important now as they were 20 years ago. Absolutely timeless and digitally remastered, this film deserves to be seen on the big screen!" - Andrew Hewson, Marketing Manager.
