Love is a difficult journey. And it’s easy to get lost.

Directed by Andrea De Sica and Anna Negri and starring Benedetta Porcaroli, Alice Pagani, Riccardo Mandolini, Isabella Ferrari, Claudia Pandolfi, Paolo Calabresi and other Italian stars, Baby is a coming-of-age story in six episodes that explores the unseen lives of Roman high schoolers. Loosely inspired by a true story, the series follows a group of Parioli teenagers as they defy society in their search for identity and independence against the backdrop of forbidden love, family pressures, and shared secrets. What happened in Rome a few years ago it’s just a framework for our story. The show is about teenagers who need love, who struggle for love. The teens are struggling for love exactly as adults are.

All the characters need love in different ways, they feel the lack of love, they suffer from it. They all have different problems, with their parents, with their friends, with the society, with the school. Baby is, above all, about love and miscommunication. Every character is on its own journey. A journey to love and happiness.

This drama series delves into the wide-ranging experiences of Italian teens through the bold storytelling of the new writing collective, GRAMS, made up of five young writers, Antonio Le Fosse, Eleonora Trucchi, Marco Raspanti, Giacomo Mazzariol and Re Salvador. Writers Isabella Aguilar and Giacomo Durzi will join them in bringing this vision to life.
