EARLY MAN QUESTS Launched At English Heritage Sites Across The Country kicking off with Dug visiting STONEHENGE
AARDMAN and STUDIOCANAL are delighted to launch EARLY MAN QUESTS in partnership with ENGLISH HERITAGE this February half term, and to celebrate Dug paid a visit to one of their most famous sites – Stonehenge!
Walk in the footsteps of your ancestors in search for Dug, Goona, Hognob and the rest of the Early Man tribe at 13 historic locations around England. Follow the clues and complete the quest to uncover centuries of history in one day and enter for the chance to win tickets to an exclusive outdoor screening of EARLY MAN at Stonehenge on Saturday 26th May.
Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (EDDIE REDMAYNE) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (TOM HIDDLESTON) and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Goona (MAISIE WILLIAMS) is the gallant and indomitable rebel who befriends Dug and helps the tribe in their battle to beat the Bronze Age at their own game.
English Heritage’s Head of Events Jenny Davie said “We are thrilled to be working with Aardman on their campaign for Early Man, and were excited to welcome Dug and Hognob to Stonehenge. To celebrate the release of this great family film, we're hosting a series of events across the country, allowing visitors to embark on their own adventures at some beautiful historic sites.”
Aardman Animations’ Head of Marketing & Brand Lucy Wendover said “What could be more fitting for our prehistoric movie than to bring Dug and his pet Hognob home to Stonehenge! We are delighted to partner with English Heritage and get kids excited about history and pre-history and we look forward to seeing the movie screened outdoors at Stonehenge.”
EARLY MAN IS IN CINEMAS NATIONWIDE ON JANUARY 26
