Carnival on Film at South Lambeth Library for Black History Month next Wednesday

12 October 2012

With Black History Month in full swing, renowned director Keith Musaman Morton returns to Lambeth after his triumphant event last year, and this time he teams up with The Other Side of Carnival director Charysse Tia Harper to bring you two new films both are being screened next Wednesday at the South Lambeth Library with Panomundo and T&T in Fifteen.

THIS EVENT IS NOT TO BE MISSED!

First up is the seven minute promo of Panomundo, a film that is close to both directors hearts and due to public interest they bring it to you following the award winning success of The Other Side of Carnival.
Did you know that Trinidad & Tobago can give claim to having the only instrument invented in the 20th century? Though it originated by accident, the steelpan has given rise to a movement that can be seen in the US, UK, Switzerland, Japan and more! This promo video shows the evolution of steelpan from the island and its influence on the rest of the world.
T&T 50 in Fifteen is a film that showcases the important events that have occurred during Trinidad & Tobago's 50 years of independence, told in magnificent style.
