Carnaby International Goes On The Road With Alexandra McGuinness’s Second Feature HIGHWAY Starring Eiza Gonzalez + Lucy Fry

Carnaby International is delighted to announce it will represent Alexandra McGuinness’ second feature HIGHWAY this year as Cannes Film Festival 2018 commences.

HIGHWAY stars an outstanding cast, featuring: Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver, From Dusk Til Dawn, Alita: Battleangel), Lucy Fry (Bright, 11.22.63, Wolf Creek), Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, Penny Dreadful), Christian Camargo (The Hurt Locker, The Twilight Saga), Blake Berris (Breaking Bad, Pretty Little Liars), Sheila Vand (Argo, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) and Antonia Campbell-Hughes (Bright Star, Split, Kelly + Victor).

Written and Directed by Alexandra McGuinness (Lotus Eaters, Riders) and Produced by Dominic Wright from Ripple World Pictures and Anna O’Malley and Eammon Cleary from TW Films, the film was financed by GCI Films and the Irish Film Board. HIGHWAY features Heidi (Lucy Fry) and Jane (Eiza Gonzalez) who live in a small desert town which has been bypassed by a bigger brighter world. Whilst Heidi is happy to daydream her time away in between shifts at the local diner, Jane strives for a life she thinks she deserves. After Jane suddenly disappears, Heidi is forced to take control and set out to find her friend, only to discover a world where reality and the borderless expanses of the desert intertwine.

CAA and VERVE VENTURES are co-repping North America with Carnaby International Sales & Distribution representing the Rest of the World. The deal was negotiated by Adam Stanhope and Dominic Wright on behalf of the producers and by Tim Grohne and Andrew Loveday on behalf of Carnaby International.
