Adam Cozad adapting The Gray Man

03 May 2010

With the Bourne franchise sitting in Limbo, it is reported that other studios and production companies are looking to fill the perceived operative-on-the-run market gap with novel adaptations.

Amongst the studios and production companies is New Regency, who have hired Adam Cozad to turn Mark Greaney’s thriller tome The Gray Man into a script.

In the book, we find a former CIA operative/assassin suddenly on the run from unknown forces that are looking to off him. But there’s an extra wrinkle – he has a pair of daughters who don’t even know he exists, but who he must nevertheless save from his pursuers.

Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura is linked to Cozads' Jack Ryan film script.
