Action Hero Liam Neeson teams with Ruben Fleischer for Action-Comedy THE REVENGER

He’s certainly made a name for himself as an action hero and word is that Taken franchise star Liam Neeson is set to take the lead in the forthcoming action-comedy The Revenger.

Whilst there is no synopsis for The Revenger at present, we do know that it will be helmed by Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer with Night at the Museum scribes Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant on writing duty.

Neeson was last seen in a cameo in Ted 2, where he was taking the mick out of his action hero persona and will next be seen in Richard Elson’s A Christmas Star on November 13 and has Martin Scorsese’s Silence and J.A. Bayona’s A Monster Calls in post production.
