Susan’s big break came in 1999 when she played Mandella in 10 Things I Hate About You opposite Julia Stiles. She has a daughter with actor Kenneth Mitchell named Lilah Ruby Mitchell. She played Sousaphone in the East Lansing High School Marching Band but left home to pursue modeling (and other educational opportunities) before she could graduate with the ELHS Class of 1992.
